Bateman Battersby Lawyers has served the Penrith community for more than 40 years, across conveyancing, family law and estates. Complete Legal’s line is plain English from skilled lawyers, and the two are now working together.
Two names under one roof raise a question every client asks without saying it: who am I dealing with? The brand had to keep the standing of Bateman Battersby and the approachability of Complete Legal, and show them side by side.
We built a lock-up, Bateman Battersby | Complete Legal., that sits on everything from business cards to the glass door. Each name keeps its own system underneath it. Bateman Battersby holds a classic blue palette and a serif display face. Complete Legal takes a stone and burgundy palette, a scale pattern and a CL. brandmark, and both set their text in Articulat CF.
The system then went onto brochures for conveyancing, family law, estate planning and estate administration, along with stationery, drinkware, door vinyl and social posts. Each brochure speaks to one situation, from buying a home to a family matter, and the team portraits lead a campaign called “Generations of Trust. One New Direction.”
Bateman Battersby and Complete Legal now sit together on every card, brochure and door, each still recognisably itself.
