From equipment hire to trucks and machinery.
OutWest began as OutWest Equipment Hire, a Sydney business hiring and selling forklifts, telehandlers, excavators and boom lifts. By its own account, it grew out of a father-and-son mechanical repair business, and it put service first. We built the brand and the website: an interlocking OW monogram and a forklift roundel badge in bold orange and charcoal, and a filterable catalogue where every machine has its specifications and a get a quote button.
Then the business changed direction. Its owner moved it into servicing trucks and machinery, from a base in Emu Plains, for customers across Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains and greater Sydney. A change like that can tempt a business into a new name and a new look, and a loss of everything its customers already recognise.
We kept the monogram, the badge and the palette, and re-set them as OutWest Trucks & Machinery. The new website is built around the new work: truck servicing, and machinery servicing for excavators, telehandlers, trench rollers, skid steers and forklifts. It carries a row of the manufacturers the workshop services and an insights section of articles for fleet owners.
The relationship has followed the business from one stage to the next, and the identity now carries both.
OutWest changed what it does and kept what customers recognise, with a website for each stage of the business.
